Mangarakau

A three day kayaking trip to Muddy Creek, Mangarakau River, Lake Otuhie and Anatori River based at Mangarakau Swamp. Despite gale winds and plenty of recent storm silt in the rivers the kayaking was fantastic, although we will surely return in still weather with dusk/dawn tides to see the ancient bush in its best light.
